About Me

Originally from Georgia, I moved to Colorado to pursue my passions for conservation, photography, and the outdoors after earning my Master’s degree in Environmental Economics from the University of Georgia. Photography has always been a part of my life, and through my travels around the world and interactions with wildlife and nature, my passion for photography grew immensely.

During my academic journey, I focused my Master’s thesis on conservation programs in Florida, researching how these initiatives impact habitat preservation and community engagement. My research gave me a deeper understanding of the intersection between conservation, community, and the environment, which continues to influence my work today. In my free time, I began taking portraits for college graduates, which quickly expanded into engagement sessions and weddings. I discovered a love for capturing people’s special moments and telling their stories through photography.

My love for wildlife photography skyrocketed during my time in South Africa, where I conducted data collection outside the Greater Kruger Area. This experience allowed me to hone my skills behind the lens while working closely with wildlife, further solidifying my passion for conservation and photography. Since moving to Colorado, I’ve continued my work in the conservation field, exploring the outdoors and photographing wildlife whenever I can.

Recently, I’ve fallen in love with film photography, which has given me a fresh, creative perspective on my craft. Photography has given me the ideal opportunity to combine my dedication to conservation with the art of storytelling. I am deeply committed to contributing to the preservation of our planet and the species that inhabit it, using my skills and efforts to support conservation initiatives. Whether I’m capturing a milestone moment for someone or preserving the beauty of the natural world, I’m passionate about creating meaningful, timeless images that tell a story.
